Love Jones stars Larenz Tate as Darius Lovehall and Nia Long as Nina Mosley. These two have a "love at first sight" connection going on, that Nina tries to deny, however, a persistent Darius eventually wins her over, and the sparks fly. Their connection is disturbed by Nina’s past, and when Nina informs Darius about the situation, he unknowingly fails the test when he acts unconcerned. Nina leaves town, and that looks like the end, however, as Savon (played by Isaiah Washington) says, when that love jones comes down, it can be powerful!
