I would love for Feeling Poetic to be a book club selection, even though it is a book of poetry. I know many look at poetry as something they will have to struggle through in order to make sense of what the poem is about, or have to wreck their brains in analyzing each verse, but none of that is necessary. Feeling Poetic is reader friendly.
If you have ever been in love, Feeling Poetic is love. If you have ever lost a relationship that you really wanted to work, Feeling Poetic has poems that you can relate to. Ever had a friend that ticked you off? Feeling Poetic has poems for that too. And the poems are self explanatory in the message they convey. Poems of encouragement, pain, love—it’s all there.
So if you are a member of a book club, I challenge you to take on Feeling Poetic. Each chapter is a feeling, and any group of women and men will have plenty to discuss.
